Cut List
A cut list turns your layout into an action plan. It reduces waste, speeds up install day, and helps you order the right amount of material.
What your cut list should include
- Panel widths × heights (quantity of each)
- Internal stiles/battens (quantity and length)
- Terminating stiles (left/right)
- Rails and caps (if your design includes them)
Pro workflow
- Lock layout in the calculator
- Export CSV cut list
- Sort by part type + length
- Batch cut repeat pieces first
- Dry fit the first bay, then repeat
Always verify on-site
Use the cut list as your starting point, then verify the wall dimensions where the paneling will actually be installed—especially on older homes where walls vary.
